HENAI News | HENAI Invited to Attend Laser Safety Training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University
On June 13, 2025, Mr. Zhang Eddie, Technical Director of HENAI and one of the drafters of China's national laser safety standards, was invited to attend a training session titled “Laboratory Laser Safety Protection, First Aid Knowledge, and Emergency Response Practice,” held at the School of Naval Architecture, Ocean & Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as part of the 2025 National Safety Production Month.
During the session, Mr. Zhang gave detailed explanations on fundamental laser safety knowledge, including laser safety standards, professional terminology, and the health hazards of laser exposure. He also provided guidance on how to ensure proper personal and area protection based on real-world applications in laboratory settings.
Through this laser safety training, students at the School of Naval Architecture, Ocean & Civil Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University gained a deeper understanding of laser safety. A Q&A session and one-on-one discussions were also included, further enhancing students' awareness and attention to laser protection.
